For firms claiming compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®), it’s time for your annual reminder: the CFA Institute requires firms to submit a GIPS Compliance Notification Form by June 30th each year.
This process ensures your firm’s information is accurate, up to date, and aligned with the ongoing requirements of the GIPS standards – reinforcing your commitment to transparency, accuracy, and best practices in performance reporting.
Who Needs to Submit?
First-Time Claim of Compliance:
If your firm is claiming GIPS compliance for the first time, you’ll need to submit the Initial GIPS Compliance Notification Form via the CFA Institute’s website.

Existing Claim of Compliance:
If your firm has already notified the CFA Institute in previous years and continues to claim compliance, you’ll need to use the Update GIPS Compliance Notification Form to confirm or amend your details.
